Objet : Re: [FT100] Replacement Mic

In July I ordered a replacement switch from Yaesu. The FT-100 is usually used at field day so it hasn't been a priority to replace yet. The switch was PN S8102323 cost 0.78 and the spring required to adapt the replacement switch was PN S8003144 cost 0.15. Shipping here to Illinois was 2.67, 3 times the cost of the parts but I am good with that.

For the cord, there are a number of folks on EBay selling the replacement cords. I have replaced the cord on my FT-100 and FT-90 mic with the replacements from there and have been happy.

Hi,

I'm looking for an idea for a replacement microphone for my FT-100D. I looked on the internet, but had no real luck. Mine just went sour, bad PTT switch and the cord is totally destroyed.

Thanks for the help, 73 de KF4KUL
