Up for sale is my Yaesu FT-100.  The radio has the 500HZ CW Filter
and the FTS-27 CTCSS Decoder Board.  It's never had the extra
grounding done inside of the radio as I've never had a problem with
the HI SWR icon and I've never done the mods to keep the fans on
low.

I bought this radio brand new back in Dec 1999.  The radio has seen
very little use over the past 15 years.  I used it for 2 years until it lost
power on all bands. Yaesu wanted to much to repair it. Then in 2010,
I learned about the IC ALC problem people have had with this radio.
I sent the radio out to Burghardt's where they replaced 6 smd resistors
and brought the radio back to life.  I also had the  MARS/CAP mod
done so the radio could be used on 60m.  Since I was using an
FT-857D at this time... the radio sat in the box in my cellar when I got
it back.

In 2014 I had to send my FT-857D to Yaesu to have some work done
on it... so I connected my FT-100 up to use.  Had problems with the mic
and replaced the mic cord and the PTT microswitch (I should have a
couple of extra microswitches). When I got my FT-857D back from
aesu... the FT-100 went back into the box and into my cellar.

When I went to use the radio back in Oct 2017... everything in the radio
was set to factory default.  Radio just came back from Midwest Technical
Services to have the lithium memory backup battery replaced.  He also
made an adjustment to a trimmer cap on the Filter Unit which I guess
was affecting the SWR Power Protection and playing games with the 6m,
20m, and 160m output power. Everything else in the radio checked out
OK.

I figured I would offer up the radio on here before advertising it on
qrz.com.

I have the radio, manual, power cord, hand mic, and original box. I have
to look to see if I have the mobile mount (radio was never used mobile).
I also have an adapter that I bought when I first bought the radio that was
made by Heil that allows you to use the MD-100 deskmic with the radio.

Asking $475 shipped to the lower 48 states.  Due to part swappers... all
sales are final and no returns.

I can take pictures and e-mail them to anyone interested
