FT-100 Will Not Turn On – check CV

eBay purchase arrived today. Seller said head clips broken & didn't respond to my questions – but price was ok to went ahead. Soon had the head attached, wouldn’t turn on, no clicking. Opened it up – fixed broken speaker wire & checked all FPC connectors. Still wouldn’t power up. Circuit, shows DC enters PA board, through filter T3004 then off to switching relay RL3001 to PA stages & such. A quick bypass of the relay and still nothing. Checked again & see DC passes through D3006 and comes out on J3004 as signal CV. Then goes to main unit J1007 and comes out on J1008. Then in to control unit J7005 pin 4 & to a 5V regulator powering CPU. As a quick test I soldered a wire from pin 4 to the top of PA board DC filter T3004 – bypassing all those FPC connectors. Plugged it in and immediately heard life. Now turns on fine but has a flashing display – suspect PLL unlock which I'll look at later. 
 
 
 So if your rig is not powering up, check Control Unit J7005 pin 4 is getting 13.8V when you connect power. Hope this helps someone – when I searched here I found nothing.
