      One potential problem with a dummy load is that if the radio is oscillating and putting out a 13mhz signal like some FT100s would on 12 and 10m, a dummy load would be resonant there and it wouldn't show the HI SWR Icon.

Before you tear into the rig, I would check it out with a dummy load.I just had another thought. Since you were trying to crack a pile-up and you may have been at it for a while, the problem may be heat related.

      Hi all



Today I noticed SWR bar raising up for seconds and High SWR icon appear on left corner on our FT-100D during call OF9X in pileup even although antenna is matched to 1:1.1 at the radio input.

I am really worrying to use it as do not want to baking finnals....:(

Is there any idea what happends please?
