Add extra antenna for 800 900Mhz etc?

The radio receives 800-900 MHz etc, but is pretty deaf.
 Is there a place to tap in a third antenna port ?  IE bypass any filtering that is knocking down the signal.
 I know the Kenwood 942 series has that capability.
