Hi Bob,

 

The release knob is part number RA0069600 and the spring is R0137551.

 

In theory you may be able to get them from Yaesu spare parts. Give them a call and quote those part numbers and they should be able to tell you whether they still have some or not. Chances are that they possibly still do

release mechanism for front panel from the main unit is missing ( assume it was broken by original owner)

anyone have simple solution other than some type of tape/ velcro to keep secure, not problem if just sits in house but will probably sell unit i bought from an estate.
