RE: separation kit ysk100- alternatives

Someone has one for sale on eBay.  It’s missing the mic extension cable, but that is easy to replicate with available parts.  The hard pieces to find are the radio to control head cable and the mounting bracket for the control head, which is included with what is listed.

decided to keep newly acquired ft100d if can find separation kit. will replace the unused ftm400d i just bought couple months ago.     have searched, called yaesu for individual parts to kit, but nothing from them. emailed company from germany who have advertised on ebay in europe a kit they have, but they have nort responded to several emails to a few questions i have about the put together of their kit.  dont use the fusion aspect of the 400d, but it easy and good rcvr esp for the repeaters i use it to listen, but probably doesnt have 1 hour use in 7 months. needs to find new home so it is not neglected. . the 100d, if can mount same way in old jeep liberty would be fine for what use radio for. have an 857d and atas in new jeep so would be fun to compare .

came across someone in 4land in virginia on a forum that was making and selling somekind of kit, but was several years old post. no email address so will snail mail him.

just thought someone would have some other ideas.

got radio back on frequency with help from several people and all seems fine. got the last latch for fron display to body from yaesu (1.08$) and dug out a spring from some very old slide switches scavanged years again from dead equipment.
