Hi all, I reduced the mic gain as suggested ang worked into Germany on 6 meters. No clipping or distortion, the mic gain setting is at 47 on the scale and about 6 inches away from my mouth. Too high of microphone gain can cause clipping. There is a speech processor built into the FT100 that may not have the parameters set correctly.
