I don't know why you would need such power levels, unless your trying to
reach Mars or something.
I was just trying my hand at some digital so I turned down the power to
just a couple watts. As low as the transmitter would go. A few days
later I got an automated reply e-mail from some station in Indiana. From
central Oklahoma to Indiana on a couple watts!
