Hi All, Is there any solution for me to tune into Scrambled Tx of Motorola Saber system used by police enforcement? I only hear a PTT pressed wihtou any voice at 171~172 MHZ. The VX-2R has a 4-conductor audio jack. This one jack has to do transmit and receive audio, PTT, and programming. I don't know if it will also accept a stereo plug, so be sure that is really what you have. If the plug you referred to is a 3-conductor stereo plug, it should work in the VR-500.
