Chuck, Darn, now you made me have to get my manual out! The specs list the VR-500 as .1000 MHz - 1299.9995 (cellular blocked) I think they have have 16 meter covered. I know I've done CB on mine, although it's hard to listen to much of that unless you've got something to talk back to most of the stuff there... 8-) It might be something new, so give Grove a call first to clarify. However, I think you get all mode reception through most, if not all of the frequency range.
