Open a console window.

For the purposes of this example, let's say that your tk500.tcl program is 
located in the /home/foo/tk500 directory.

In the command window, type:

export   tk500=/home/foo/tk500
$tk500/tk500.tcl

You should then see the tk500 program begin and open several windows.
