"PRE" in corner of display

Had my VR-500 off for a few days, reprogramed (with computer) for a differe=
nt location, that went OK but I noticed some pixels not working. This has =
never happened before. I did a total reset, same problem. Reprogrammed agai=
n and now there are the letters PRE in the lower left corner on the display=
. The func button works, as does the monitor button, but when I hold both d=
own to try another master reset, I get only the opening message I programme=
d in. I can press func then 3 and it will seek (shows SCH in the lower left=
corner of display). I can also get to set mode. If I set the display to a =
known active channel with the dial knob it will recieve properly. Volume/sq=
uelch work properly. I suspect it is stuck in some unknown mode. The pixel =
problem is no big deal, much more worried about the operational problem. An=
yone else have this problem?
