they are standard 8 pin rj45 connectors and many hotels will loan you a cable if you forget yours. you will need a lan card. I haven't been to a hotel that will loan you a card. also most wireless hotels will loan you a wireless bridge if you do not have a wireless card or more commonly, their wireless connection point is so far away from your room that you have difficulty making or keeping a good connection. last night I stayed in a holiday inn express that provided high speed internet via the in room TV...for $10.00 per night...or free wireless..tonight, I'm in a marriott which is wired with a data jack on the wall. geosc_mapper <[email protected]> wrote: Please, could you tell my friend, how "hard-wired connection" sockets in average US hotel room look like?
