I don't think that you will find one antenna that will do everything.  I 
use a Sloper (wire antenna by Alpha Delta) which works very well from 0 
to 30 MHz..  For above 30 MHz I use a Discone type antenna that covers 
from around 25 MHz to 1.3 GHz.  Diamond makes a good Discone antenna of 
high quality.  This works for me, but I'm sure that others in this group 
may have good ideas too.
