I have antenna AOR SA 7000 for my VR-5000 with 15 meters cable 50ohm. I'm happy for this configuration. This antenna is very compacted and have extra parameters, and fully working with VR-5000 From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of driftermick Sent: Monday, April 19, 2010 5:25 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [YaesuVR-5000] Re: yaesu vr-5000 info Susan. Welcome to the group. If you go to universal-radio.com you will find not all antennas will cover this large freq spread. I use the AOR SA7000. for the simple fact, i had this on my AR5000A receiver. so, easy run for me. it does cover 30K to 2GHz. my VR-5k is not a main receiver here. and the antenna works well, and you can fudge a little on the end of the freq s. so, this works for me. check universal, they carry a bunch of broad-band ant. good luck. Next question if you do not mind, what is the best antenna to cover 01-2600mhz at the moment I have a g5 long wire set up. Any suggestions will be appreciated. > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
