The above isn't quite right if it's trying to include a 9 pin to 25 pin
cable (as 
suggested by the third connection).   
If you're trying to make a 25 pin to 9 pin cable, you have to change
the first two 
connections too, since the RX/TX are reversed on 9 vs 25 pin cables. 
Ie you'd have 
2-2
3-3
5-7

These aren't tru null modems, but they do work with the VR5000. I just
call them 
reversing cables so as not to be confused with the null modem cables
that have other 
handshaking lines that aren't used for much these days.
