Somebody please help me! As written in the VR5000 manual, receiver status can be read from VR5000. But, I don't understand the receiver status that I get from VR5000. Receiver Status [7][6][5][4][3][2][1] Bit 7 is squelch data, 0 means squelch OFF, 1 means squelch ON. Question: Bit 5,4,3,2,1 is S-Meter Data, but what does this data means? Signal strength?
