I know what you mean! I didn't want to get the manual out every time I wanted to change something so I made up a few memory joggers the same size as a credit card so I keep them near my radio.
Here's one for the VR5k. If you can't read it, let me know your email adress and i'll send a better one to you. I'll put it in the 'files' section too.
