Hi Colin.

I finally settled on KE7ATE's software as a general utility program.  I 
think it was about 50 dollars US.  There isn't a lot of software around, 
unfortunately.  Just google that call-sign and you will find it.

TRX Manager is another that nominates control of the VR5000.  It might 
be better still.

WXtoIMG for weather sats seems to have some form if (hidden) integrated 
control for the vr 5000.

I have thought about doing my own in VB6, but just don't have the time.
