I will clarify.   You turn it on.  Set it to your frequency listen for a few hours and don't touch anything.  Suddenly you want to tune to a new frequency.  Turn the vfo knob and nothing happens.  Punch a button and nothing happens.  Turn it off and it wont come back on again.  Un plug it from the power let it set for a while.  Hook up power again.  It does a master reset on its on and you have lost all memories.  I guess I should have read the owners manual that was written by a 1st grader.  Good luck.  AC5DF.
