I picked up an older vr5000 at hamfest from 2000 I think. I had to take it apart and disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cables for the control panel. Since then it has worked great with no issues even the cat interface. I paif $300 for it and its like new. I am so glad I got it. Super receiver! wayne.
