power save testing update

test #1- used my best antenna, and with power saver off i pick up 
transmissions on a uhf frequency *most* of the time. sometimes it 
misses this relatively strong signal, not often.


no difference in performance with power saver on.




test #2- pryme rd2 antenna (about 3"). same results as above, but miss 
the signal more often.




conclusion: power saver option does not seem to be the problem that i 
thought. perhaps i've stumbled on a selectivity problem?


anybody else tested this radio?
