I have a VR-500, which is much more sensitive than the 120, and is in just 
about every way a better radio.
If it had better intermod rejection and CTCSS tones, it would be perfect.
Sometimes I have to use the attenuator and a stubby antenna to get the strong 
local stations without any interference
