I don't think there is a "one document" solution out there. For the interface cable, see the interface cable section on my website: http://www.qsl.net/kc8unj There's a lot of information there, I hope it doesn't confuse you more. As far as programming thje radio from the PC goes, it isn't too difficult. You just read from the radio, type in the freqs you want, then write them to the radio. My software still has problems on some PCs, but I'll continue to develop it. Bob Parnass also has VR-120 software that is more advances, there's a link to his site on the Links section of my page.
