>What is the difference between mpiBLAST and mpiBLAST-PIO? Heshan Lin wrote a fork of mpiBLAST with optimizations for parallel IO devices. It is based on the ncbi toolbox from approximately 1 year ago. It has not (yet?) been folded onto the cvs tree.
