-> I'm looking for a database about known DNA binding proteins with -> sequence specificity. My goal is to obtain, if it is known, the protein -> name corresponding to a DNA binding motif. -> Any suggestion? JASPAR, http://mordor.cgb.ki.se/cgi-bin/jaspar2005/jaspar_db.pl You can also try Transfac, but it's only commercially available, AFAIK. I have some tools that might help you search the JASPAR database; I've never found their interface terribly intuitive. Respond off-list if you're interested. cheers, --titus
