I am pleased to report that we have made an interim release of WormBase containing the genome-wide RNA interference data reported today by Julie Ahringer's group (Kamath RS, Fraser AG, Dong Y, Poulin G, Durbin R, Gotta M, Kanapin A, Le Bot N, Moreno S, Sohrmann M, Welchman DP, Zipperlen P & Ahringer J. Nature 421, 231 - 237 (2003). Systematic functional analysis of the Caenorhabditis elegans genome using RNAi.) See the WormBase home page for details on how to access this data. Also, while you're at it, have a look at the design for the new WormBase banner and home page located at http://brie2.cshl.org:8081. We're nearing completion of the design, and are interested in feedback from the community.
