Dear WormBase Users -

We are pleased to announce the opening of our third mirror site -- our first
in Asia:

     http://wormbase.ccbb.re.kr/

This mirror is hosted at the Center for Computational Biology and
Bioinformatics in Daejeon, South Korea, maintained by Chang Hyuk Kwon.

In addition, we've worked hard to develop a robust system for keeping our
mirror sites stable and up-to-date. These enhancements ensure that all of
our mirrors are current with the main WormBase site. We encourage users to
use the geographically closest mirror.

These mirrors should help to ease load on the main WormBase site offering
all users faster access to the resource.

Our list of mirrors and administrators:

   IMBB (Crete, Greece); Nektarios Tavernarakis
      http://worm.imbb.forth.gr/

Caltech (Pasadena, CA USA); Erich Schwarz
      http://caltech.wormbase.org/

CCBB (Daejeon, South Korea); Chang Hyuk Kwon
      http://wormbase.ccbb.re.kr/

If you are interested in hosting a mirror in your lab or institution, please
contact Todd Harris ([email protected]).

As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Todd Harris and the WormBase Consortium
