WormBook : a freely available online C. elegans resource

Dear Members of the C. elegans Community,

     WormBook, containing over 90 original reviews covering all aspects
of C. elegans biology, as well as a collection of methods useful to C.
elegans researchers (WormMethods), is now freely available online at
http://www.wormbook.org. New chapters are continually being added to
WormBook. In order to receive a monthly email informing you of recent
additions to WormBook, please click on

     Chapters listed in WormBook's Table of Contents with html and pdf
versions are published chapters and can be cited as in the following
example:

Eisenmann, D. M., Wnt signaling (June 25, 2005), WormBook, ed. The C.
elegans Research Community, WormBook, doi/10.1895/wormbook.1.7.1,
http://www.wormbook.org.

     Chapters listed with preprint versions are citable with the words
"in press" replacing the publication date and have not yet been
assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

     This winter, WormBook will celebrate 6 months online and will be
eligible to apply for inclusion in PubMed, further increasing the
exposure of our chapters.

     We look forward to continuing to provide the C. elegans community
with the most up-to-date reviews written by leading scientists in the
field.
