He wanted to talk to him again but he just never did.

Howard Doesn't Believe Artie And Dana Are Still A Couple. Artie said he and Stephanie hung out on his terrace and had a nice discussion.
Artie asked him where he gets that from. Howard went but he felt awkward with him. Howard saw a picture of her with Artie and he thought she looked great. Artie said it was lit, it just wasn't bright enough for the TV camera.

He said he's going to be voting for Senator Hillary Clinton because he's a big supporter of hers. Howard let him go and took another call from a guy who said that Artie's date was really hot. He said if he has to choose between her and Rudy Giuliani in the Presidential race, he'd have to choose Giuliani. Howard took a call from a guy who played a cuckoo clock sound effect for Fred.
He said he felt comfortable with Ed on and off camera because he really did like the guy. He threw in a joke about Artie being a pig while talking about that.
Howard said that Fred could be considered weird like Ed because he has two different names.
He said the first interview he did with Ed didn't go so well but the second one went great. Howard said just about a week ago he was telling Beth that he really liked Ed and he'd like to invite him over to dinner. He then moved on to this guy he had on the phone.
Howard asked Artie if he got laid that night. He did go out on the date with that chick. Artie said he wouldn't have taken a  doggy bag home with him if he was really on a first date.
He doesn't buy it and he's not sure what's going on with Artie.
That led to Howard talking about going to see Artie at his show and how he went to the bathroom at Carnegie Hall before the show.
