need help about silica and cellulose acetate

hi all :)

i've made cellulose acetate-silica (from rice husk ash) membrane then i analyzed using FTIR. In FTIR spectrum, it seems semilar between cellulose acetate membrane (without silica) and cellulose acetate-silica membrane. How could it happen? What kind of interaction between cellulose acetate and silica? 

need alot info about silica and cellulose acetate please...
