Hi,

The only acid I know of that attacked glass is hydrofluoric acid, but it doesn't react very fast. It is not likely that you have hydrofluoric acid since it is very hazardous. One drop on your skin will cause severe burning and a trip to the hospital is necessary to neutralize the acid. Washing with water will not stop the acid.

You could store the acids in plastic bottles, but you should replace them every other year, just to be safe.
