article in the latest ROA - QSO

I have been told that in the latest issue of the Radio Officers
Association ( ROA ) newsletter QSO ( Vol. 17 No. 1 / March 2017 ),
there is a very interesting article called "The Code Book - Part One"
by Tony Selman.

This is based on a diary, called 'The Code Book', of Hugh (?)
Griffiths - who was a member of the Radio Security Service
( MI6 / RSS ) before WW2. He was transferred to the Royal
Signals "Special Communication Unit" SCU3  in 1943.

He worked at the ( ex-GPO ) listening station at St. Erth,
monitoring German and other foreign code messages for B.P.

His diary lists various special ( non-standard ) 'Q' codes,
stations monitored, 'Y' stations links to B.P.,and other details.

The diary was sent to ROA's Tony Selman by his son Mike Griffiths.

I've tried to find more details of this QSA article on ROA website
http://www.radioofficers.com/, but nothing there as far as I can see...

Anyway, if anybody on this list is a ROA member and receives the QSO,
it would be interesting to find out more. I wonder whether there is
something in the B.P. archives ?
