Last Friday I returned from France with a new cypher device - an IDEAL
Codigraph.

It is a machine of the Bazeries type, designed by a Charles Durand, it
was available from 1919.

Eventually it will go on display at BP along with other machines from
my, and David White's, collections. These cypher machines are
downstairs in B Block, awaiting bigger and better space upstairs.

Images of the Codigraph are available on request but I'd appreciate
further information on it.

Do contributors to this newsgroup know anything of this device?
