As it were, I managed to get the original manuscript
(in German) from a presentation on the DDR's
cipher agencies made by a gentleman in Berlin.
It turns out that they had a variety of cipher
equipments. It seems that they also had a modern
teleprinter version of the " Geheimschreiber"
and in fact I saw one at the place were I picked up
the
Fialka. I guess we still dont know the whole extent
of their " secrets".
