All,

This is slightly off-topic. Charles Chibitty, the last surviving Comanche
code-talker died on 20 July 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He served in the ETO with the U. S. Army having enlisted in 1941 and served
with 16 other Comanche Indians in the 4th Signal Coy and participated in the
Normandy invasion. He was 83.

I had the privilege of knowing him. We participated in a Communications
Seminar several years ago in Tulsa.

Regards,

Bill Orr
