I found the following page on the official SIS website, discussing the the
relationship between SIS (aka MI6) and GCCS:

   http://www.sis.gov.uk/output/Page474.html

It says that, "In July 1938 Sinclair purchased Bletchley Park in
Buckinghamshire as a wartime evacuation location for both his organisations.
Both moved there in August 1939."

I was interested in what was known about SIS at BP. Did they stay long or
transfer there in any number?

I know that MI6 set up a radio station at BP, and Tony Sale has one web page
which says that, "On 1st August 1939 SIS and GC&CS moved to Bletchley Park,
"the war station". SIS occupied the first floor of the Mansion with GC&CS
occupying the ground floor."
