I've taken direct action (phoned BP) on the identity card question. The
answer was "I don't they ask for any identity they'll take your word". I
couldn't get a definitive answer even when I suggested that I didn't want to
go all the way to BP to find they were asking for ID on that particular day.
So there's the answer. If you look like an over 60, walk like an over 60
and talk like an over 60 you are over 60.

Subject: [BPARK] New entrance fees

It has taken me only nearly three months to catch up with the new entrance
fees. Now that the rate includes a whole year unlimited visits it has gone
from being rather expensive to being a very good bargain and will gladfully
return.

I would, however, query one point. There is a reduced rate for over 60s on
production of an ID card. We don't have ID cards in this country yet. Just
what is required. Before anyone falls into the usual response to that
question I don't travel abroad so I don't have a passport and I don't have a
photo driving license.
