I can't see that it is a major problem, plenty of places offer reduced rates for over 60s ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Would they take a B&Q pensioner discount card? ;-) Seriously (!) this is a common problem, being disabled some places want to see my disabled parking permit; trouble is that is always in the car so that I can park in the disabled space! This actually happened on the Eurostar at Ashford, they *demanded* to see the card so that I could park free and save £12, but the blue card was in the car seven stories up in the carpark! It took almost half an hour of people shuttling about with car keys to sort it out. I still wouldn't carry an identity card, the people at BP worked during the war so that we don't have to. Robert
