David, I didn't mis-understood your message. I had subscribed BP-LIST some years ago wen Jeffrey was the coordinator and Tony was curator of Bletchley. For some years I was an active BP-LIST colaborator and till two years ago sending and receiving worked well on List. Till today receiving mails from BP-LIST worked, but sending no. I am retired from University of Minho Guimaraes Portugal although living at Lisboa Portugal I keep all the contacts I had at Guimaraes and I am allowed to use the facilities of the University. Some time ago I tried to write to BP-LIST, and today I had realise that at Guimaraes e-mail service had put some alias on my e-mail address. I had changed on server the situation restoring my original address and sending is now working. If a football team is working well you must not change the players.
