The report in today's Telegraph on the Turing papers now acquired for BP
refers to 'wartime notes' and 'handwritten papers'.
However, when the collection came to auction last November, the catalogue
described it as almost exclusively comprising offprints of published
papers. Today's news item on BP's own website confirms that this is not
a collection of manuscript material, referring instead to 'offprints of sixteen of
Turing's eighteen published works'.

Although it would be wonderful if the collection did contain significant manuscript
material, it is difficult to avoid the conclusion that the Telegraph reporter is guilty of
inaccurate reporting, even though on 22 November the same newspaper
called the collection 'a set of reprints'.
