The Baylis Formation is made up of two distinct members: the lower Hadley Gravel Member and the upper, sandy Kiser Creek Member. What is the age/age range of the Baylis Formation of southern Illinois? What is its depositional history? What other formation(s)/member(s) does it correlate to? Are there any notable/index fossils found within? References: ANDREWS, G. W., 1958, Windrow Formation of Upper Mississippi Valley region: Journal of Geology, v. 66, p. 597-624. FRYE, J. C., H. B.
