WAVP 2020 FOURTH ANNOUNCEMENT


MEETING DATES:      February 14th - 17th,  2020
LOCATION:                 Museo del Desierto, Saltillo, Mexico
REGISTRATION:        Friday, February 14th at the above Museum
COST:                          $60.00 USD - Due January, 3rd 2020
                                                 (Payment details to follow)
FIELD TRIP:                 February 16th, 2020
ABSTRACT DEADLINE:      December 15, 2019

In the Third announcement it was indicated that we had rooms at the Hotel Quinta Dorada in Saltillo which are reserved at a special price ($75 USD per night). This hotel is close to the museum and restaurants. Free transportation would be provided to and from the Museo del Desierto where the registration and meetings are to be held. To reserve a room at the discounted rate call the Quinta Dorada Hotel (Phone number: ++52 844 450 5050) or e-mail Nohemí Corpus at: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.
When you make your reservation, please let people from the hotel know that you are attending the WAVP meeting for the discount room rate. The $60 Registration fee will cover field trip costs. Also, the Saturday night dinner will be provided by the Mayor of Saltillo and his office.

NOTIFICATION...  It is CRITICAL at this stage to have an idea on how many people will be able to come to the 2020 meeting. Please contact Wade Miller ([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>) or Rosario Gómez ([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>)  by November 30th if you plan to come. We hope that you will. The field trip will be held on Sunday, February 16th. Abstracts will be published in the University of California's Paleobios.
