The longest complete sauropod rib I know of comes from "Jimbo" (WDC DMJ-021), referred to *Supersaurus vivanae,* which according to Lovelace *et al. *(2007) measures 305 cm. Having seen said rib in person I can testify to its massiveness. https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.researchgate.net_profile_David-5FLovelace2_publication_237468705-5FMorphology-5Fof-5Fa-5Fspecimen-5Fof-5FSupersaurus-5FDinosauria-5FSauropoda-5Ffrom-5Fthe-5FMorrison-5FFormation-5Fof-5FWyoming-5Fand-5Fa-5Fre-2Devaluation-5Fof-5Fdiplodocid-5Fphylogeny_links_00b7d5282430699e62000000_Morphology-2Dof-2Da-2Dspecimen-2Dof-2DSupersaurus-2DDinosauria-2DSauropoda-2Dfrom-2Dthe-2DMorrison-2DFormation-2Dof-2DWyoming-2Dand-2Da-2Dre-2Devaluation-2Dof-2Ddiplodocid-2Dphylogeny.pdf&d=DwIFaQ&c=clK7kQUTWtAVEOVIgvi0NU5BOUHhpN0H8p7CSfnc_gI&r=Ry_mO4IFaUmGof_Yl9MyZgecRCKHn5g4z1CYJgFW9SI&m=fv-VGVKF1OU7QcqnRn_K8d-t5lOiaGoaekSNDTJi5lM&s=qqUaDP-HjC4gmmyhnXQt9ICdFYBbelMFNmFpwFXzynU&e= On Tue, Nov 19, 2019 at 1:39 AM Poekilopleuron <[email protected]> wrote: > Good day to all listmembers, I would like to ask what is the longest > sauropod rib on record?
