[dinosaur] Dating of the T. rex

So a hundred years ago, it was thought that the mighty T. rex lived a mere 3
million years ago. Poor australopithecines (at least if there would be a 
land bridge between North America and Africa :-) Perhaps a soft tissues 
could by much more widespread in its fossils in that case? Tom
