integumentary=0A> structures more straightforward. Here we report on probab=
le immature=0A> feathers in four juvenile enantiornithines (Aves: Ornithoth=
oraces) from the=0A> Jehol Group. As observed in developing feathers in ext=
ant birds, the=0A> purported immature fossil feathers appear proximally nar=
row and featureless=0A> with barbs protruding only distally. Based on our o=
bservations, we suggest=0A> that similar-appearing feather structures prese=
