This two-day workshop will be held on the UHM campus on October 12th (Sat) and 13th (Sun) and will feature key note presentations by three invited speakers: Ivano Caponigro (University of California, San Diego) Yusuke Kubota (National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguiistics) Jeffrey Lidz (University of Maryland College Park) The keynote speakers will also lead workshops/seminars in the areas of syntax/semantics, language acquisition and naturalistic data analysis. Call for Papers: NINJAL-UHM Linguistics Workshop on Syntax-Semantics Interface, Language Acquisition and Naturalistic Data Analysis The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UHM) and the National Institute for Japanese Languages and Linguistics (NINJAL) announce a joint workshop on syntax-semantics interface, language acquisition, and naturalistic data analysis. We solicit contributions in the above three areas for oral or poster presentations. Abstracts must not exceed two A4 or letter pages, have 2.54 cm (1 inch) margins on all sides, and be set in Times New Roman with a font size no smaller than 11pt. Examples, tables, graphs, etc. should be integrated into the text. The submission must not reveal the identity of the author(s) in any way. Abstracts must be in PDF format and submitted via email to [email protected].
