Meeting Description:

The Conflict Conference (TCC) will hold its sixth annual conference at the
Moody College of The University of Texas at Austin April 10-11, 2020. TCC is a
multidisciplinary annual conference promoting the study of conflict, conflict
resolution, and peace making.


Call for Papers:

We invite papers, panel proposals and posters on any relevant topic, such as
apologies, advocacy, collaboration and cooperation, conflict management,
conflict talk, dialogue and deliberation, dispute resolution, environmental
disputes, forgiveness, mediation, negotiation, peace, political divisiveness,
reconciliation, and restorative justice. Next year we will feature programming
about a keynote presentation by Gregory Paul of Kansas State University.

Topics on technologically mediated conflicts and ethics are also welcome. With
a broad focus on conflict and peace studies in a variety of contexts, TCC
encourages participants across disciplinary fields to submit. Work ranging
from localized interpersonal conflicts to large- scale policy issues is
encouraged. With several options for participation, TCC offers a breadth of
perspectives that engenders productive dialogues for scholars and community
members. 

The Conflict Conference welcomes several submission types:

Paper Proposals: 150-word abstract for the program & 600-word extended
abstract for review.
Research in Progress: 150-word abstract
Panel Proposals: 150-word abstracts for each panelist with a 150-word
description of the panel purpose.
