This week, our esteemed colleague Igor Vesler and I have collaborated to produce a glossary of coronavirus-related terms in English and Russian. Members who would like to download it can find the PDF file here: <http://www.pbg-translations.com/COVID%20Glossary.pdf> This is version 1.0; given the urgency of the matter we thought it better to get it out the door and add entries later as needed. The current version has 235 entries. Some are general epidemiological or disaster-response terms, but terms like "lockdown" have seen an upsurge in usage this year, while things like "nonessential activities" have been repurposed/adapted to the new conditions. We have not included general terms from government, politics, or journalism, although they are in heavy use these days. Contributions are welcome for the next version, which we hope to release next week about this time.
